The University at Albany SUNY has different minimum GPA requirement for different programs. In general, The minimum GPA requirement for UG programs is 2.0 on a scale of 5.0 and for graduate programs the minimum GPA requirement is 3.0. It must be noted that some programs in both UG and PG might require higher GPA, including MBA. For MBA the GPA requirement can be 3.6+ for a full time MBA. To get into the UofD MS in Software Engineering, a minimum GPA of 3.0 is required in Bachelor's degree. For UG programs, the students must get a minimum GPA of 2.3 on a scale of 4.0,  so yes, a students would be meeting the Purdue University eligibility by having 2.7 on a scale of 4.0. Although, this university is considered difficult to get into as the Purdue University acceptance rate stands at 49.3% meaning out of every 100 applications, only 50 applicants are rolled out an offer letter.
