The cutoff is different every year for Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology (GNIPST) according to the number of applicants and seats available. The GPAT scores are used more or less as a qualifying cutoff; students scoring above or equal to this cutoff get considered for M.Pharm admission. Yes, you can join GITAM School of Pharmacy in Visakhapatnam for an M.Pharma programme without appearing for the GPAT if you score well on the GITAM Admission Test (GAT-PGT). However, if you do have a valid GPAT score, you can still apply for admission, but you'll need to attend counseling.

To be eligible for an M.Pharma programme at GITAM, you must also have a B.Pharma degree from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks.
