So to get into SPTM the minimum range is between 90-95. It's is acceptable for getting admission. However it do get changed every year according to the number of students sitting in the exam.

No, Applicants who are planning to appear in GPAT exam must note that there will be no refund if the candidates who completed the registration and pay the application fees. Hence one must be very careful before filling the form and submit the fees while appearing in the exam.

If you are in any way interested to do a pharmacy course and you don't want to write GPAT then there are B.Pharm or M.Pharm programs which are available for direct admission in the university or the university conducts its own exam. Some of the private and state universities offer direct admission to the candidates in Class 12 (for B.Pharm) or in B.Pharm marks (for M.Pharm).

B.Pharm is prescribed on 50-55 % from class 12th with PCB/PCB and Mathematics as subjects. The score of M.Pharm mostly needs 55% in B.Pharm. Some universities that offer non-GPAT Admission include Amity University Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Science Gokul Glob

Clearing GPAT alone does not guarantee entry into Pharm. D. programs. GPAT is generally held for M. Pharm. courses and also for Pharmacy Research Fellowships. 

Doctor of Pharmacy programs have defined eligibility criteria: 

- The candidates should have completed an intermediate course in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) or should possess an undergraduate degree in pharmacy for direct admission into the Pharm. D. course. 
- Some institutes may conduct entrance examination tests, while others offer admissions based on merit list.

The cutoff is different every year for Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology (GNIPST) according to the number of applicants and seats available. The GPAT scores are used more or less as a qualifying cutoff; students scoring above or equal to this cutoff get considered for M.Pharm admission. Although GNIPST does not declare an exact cut off, usually it follows the general category cut off which GPAT has announced recently for the year 2023 at around 160–170 marks.
