Yes, GPAT 2025 counselling is a mandatory selection process in which seats will be allocated to the candidates in their desired college and course on the basis of rank secured and first come first serve basis. The participating institutes and colleges will conduct the counselling of GPAT 2025.

Yes, candidates need to register through the ‘Web Options Entry’ portal of individual Mpharma institutes through their official websiteto participate in the GPAT counselling.

Candidates who qualify the GPAT cutoff score released by the colleges for various specialisations were eligible to participate in GPAT counselling process. The MPharma admissions will only be granted after the candidates participate in the counselling process. Top MPharma colleges conduct their counselling on individual basis.

GPAT counselling was conducted on a pre-assigned date and time in offline mode. The venue location, time and date are mentioned on the call letter. The GPAT counselling registration is done via online mode for maximum institutes. Therefore, candidates will have to participate in both online and offline mode as per the procedure.

 The GPAT 2025 counselling has been concluded now. NBE released the GPAT results on June 25, 2025, for this academic year. The GPAT counselling process 2025 was conducted for all the applicants who passed the exam. The counselling schedule is shared by individual colleges/institutes on their respective colleges. Candidates can read the MPharma counselling process on the official websites of respective institutes.

The GPAT participating colleges and the GPAT accepting institutes conduct the GPAT counselling for students seeking admission to MPharma programme on an individual basis. GPAT counselling is held on the basis of the cutoff scores released by NBEMS. Candidates have to register on an individual basis at GPAT colleges to participate in the MPharma counselling.

To get admission into Masters of Pharmaceutical, the need of qualification in GPAT examination is essential. There are a lot of private Universities which also offers you admission on the basis of their own entrance exam score card, however to be eligible for government colleges in the course of M Pharma, one needs to qualify the GPAT examination.

The minimum eligibility for student to appear for GPAT examination is-

They need to be citizen of India and need to complete their Bachelors in any related field with decent amount of Marks.

For post graduation M.Pharma, the candidate must attempt the GPAT-Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test and qualify it. For admission to the B.Pharma program at DPSRU, a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in the Higher Secondary/Intermediate examination with English as one of the compulsory subjects is required. Apart from English, a combination of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and/or Biology (PCM/PCMB) is compulsory.

As per the exam pattern shared by NBEMS in the official notification og GPAT exam, candidates get 180 minutes (3 hours) to solve GPAT question paper comprising of 125 questions. The nature of questions asked in the GPAT exam will be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
