Yes, being good at drawing will be major plus point for graphic design students. Candidates are informed that a major part of the Graphic Design job profile is such that aspirants do not need to draw by hand. Thus, in order to excel in this field, it is not mandatory to be good at drawing.

On a typical workday, graphic designers need to use art/graphics to enhance as well as promote a product, enterprise, and the like. Choosing between a B.Des in Graphic Design and a BFA in Graphic Design really depends on you and your  goals.  B.Des is more industry-focused, teaching practical skills in areas like UX design and digital media, making it great for roles in corporate settings. On the other side , a BFA focus  towards the artistic side, emphasizing creativity and studio work, which is ideal if you want to explore different art forms. If you’re looking for a job right after college, B.Des might be better. But if you’re passionate about art, go for the BFA.
