Passed Class 12 or a three-year Diploma with a minimum 50% aggregate are eligible. Admission to the BDes programme at UID Ahmedabad is based on an entrance exam called UID DAT (Design Aptitude Test) and includes a two-tier selection process, which consists of qualifying for the UID DAT entrance exam and participating in the Situation Test and Portfolio evaluation round.

The MG Science Institute in Ahmedabad's website states that the BSc Microbiology degree costs INR 3000 per year. This is far less expensive than the typical annual tuition for a BSc Microbiology programme in India, which ranges from INR 20,000 to INR 2,000,000. I hope that was helpful.
