Gujarat University provides scholarships to the lower backward class or SC/ ST for better education and financial support. More than 30 scholarship schemes initiated by the Government of Gujarat are covered by Gujarat University. For developing high-quality research Government of Gujarat has initated a scheme called SHODH (scheme of developing high-quality research ) to offer financial assistance to students doing qualitative research. Under this scheme, more than 1000 full-time research scholars awarded INR 15,000 per month and INR 20,000 contingency expense P.A. in the last five years.

Gujarat University admission to LLM course is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. Besides, aandidates need to pass qualifying exam at the first attempt with at least 50% aggregate in the final year examination or exam of last two semesters of the degree of Bachelor of Law (Three years’ or Five Years Integrated LLB Programme) of Gujarat University or other Universities recognised and approved by the UGC to apply for LLM.

Aspirants are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats.
