For admission to MCA at IP University, aspirant must have a valid BCA/BSc in Information Technology/ BSc in Computer Science degree and studied Mathematics in Class 12 or graduate level to be eligible. As per the IP University 2023 brochure, the duration of all the MCA courses is two-year. The course is further divided into semester pattern. There are four semesters during the course. The syllabus might also be defined semester-wise. Candidates have to pass all the semester exams in order to get a MCA degree from IPU.

For IPU MCA admission, candidates need to appear for the NIMCET entrance test. IP University MCA (lateral) entry admission is based on the IPU CET entrance test. In case of vacant seats after counselling, GGSIPU will consider Common Entrance Test (CET), conducted by GGSIP University for MCA admission. Moreover, now CUET-PG scores are also accepted. The total IP University BCA course fee is cumulative of several components such as the tuition fee, security deposit, library fee, and other such components.
