No, Haridwar University and Roorkee College of Engineering are not the same. Haridwar University is a public university located in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, India. Roorkee College of Engineering was a public engineering college located in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India. However, Roorkee College of Engineering was merged with Haridwar University in 2023 to form the new Haridwar University.

The latest cutoff information for B.Sc. in Agriculture at Roorkee College of Engineering is 65 to 90 percentage and fee structure is 16K to 28K per year

It is always better to do it from best, whether government. Or private. Co - incidentally, most of top agriculture are government ( refer ICAR agri college ranking). I suggest, to pursue it from renowned colleges like GB Pant, IARI ( New Delhi). Some good private colleges for pursuing B.Sc. Agri are - LPU ( ICAR accredited), VIT, Roorkee college of Engineering, top nirf ranked university private Universities. Best wishes.

For CSE branch, Roorkee college of engineering is one of the best colleges in Uttarakhand. It gives best placement offer to the student with higher packages. It has very qualified faculty members, they provide good and proper knowledge to the students.

As per the rankings, PEC is the best option. PEC has placed a total of 314 students in 2019 with an average CTC of INR 4 LPA. While the highest CTC is INR 10 LPA. The major difference between both colleges is NIRF ranking of PEC. PEC has secured 76th rank in engineering category by NIRF India 2019.
