Haridwar university does not offer 100% scholarship for UG courses. The first 10 toppers in state board (first year only) receive 75% of tuition fees. Students who rank between 1 and 5,000 receive a 50% scholarship, while students who rank between 5,001 and 10,000 receive a 30% scholarship, and students who rank between 10,001 and 15,000 receive a 10% scholarship. Students who rank between 1 and 100,000 receive an 80% scholarship on tuition fees, while students who rank between 100,001 and 200,000 receive a 50% scholarship. B.Sc Computer Science, B.Sc computer Science (Data Science), B.Sc Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence and machine learning) are the top the sub branches in Haridwar university which mainly has the highest placement as well as the highest placement rates of about 75% to 83%. As Haridwar university offers many of the course programme for the students other sub branch like B.Sc Computer Science (Arificial Intelligence), B.Sc Computer Science (Cyber Security) also holds the high placement record. But this varies and changes year to year.

To be eligible for the D Pharma degree programme at Haridwar University, Roorkee, one must have completed their 10+2 education with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the Science stream. If you have more than 70% in your 12th grade you will easily get into haridwar university for the D.Pharma Program. The cutt-off varies in between 50% to 65%. So if your are having more then 65% then your are on safer side.

If you want to get admission into Haridwar university, the top university situated in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, your rank should be in between 40000 - 70000 for JEE and for GATE you'll need the rank of around 150000-30000 to get into the best courses. Haridwar university is one of the top university in Uttarakhand as well as india with the highest placement of INR 85LPA along with 96% placement rate. As compared to COER university, the highest package for B.Tech was 15.6LPA last year with a placement rate of 70%. According the data and placement statistics, if you are planning to take admission in Haridwar university that would a great option for you rather than taking admission in COER university.

Kalinga University's placements are relatively strong compared to Haridwar University. In 2024, Kalinga University reported a placement percentage of 75%, with an average package of 4.5 LPA and the highest package reaching 25 LPA. On the other hand Haridwar University's placement statistics and average package information are not provided in the sources Kalinga University appears to have a higher placement percentage and average package compared to Haridwar University.
