To become a registered dietitian, you need to do 3 things:
1. Take the specific set of courses outlined by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND). This can be completed at the undergraduate or graduate level. There are also online options, although I don't know anything about those because I didn't research them myself.
2. Complete the required internships, also outlined by AND. This can be done separately or at the same time as the coursework, depending on your programme (see the researching programs section for more details).
3. Take the RD exam (and pass it).

Everything depends on your knowledge of the field and if you are comfortable with the online courses then there is no problem. As you know the coming generation and the role of the internet. It will help you to build your online business too.

Yes, obviously, but you could have chosen good technology or food processing technology as you have a very good background of microbiology and chemistry. This line provides you better scope but it's okay that you are doing Diploma in nutrition as this also has a bright career.
