Health & Nutrition

Candidates are required to fulfil the following basic eligibility criteria to pursue Dietetics and Nutrition course at UG and PG levels-

Undergraduate (UG):

• Candidates must have passed class 12th from an approved educational board with Biology/Chemistry/Physics as the major subjects.

• Students are required to get a minimum aggregate score of 50 percent in their Class 12th or equivalent.

• Some colleges/universities also accept Botany / Computer Science / Biochemistry / Zoology as the major subjects studied in Class 12th.

Postgraduate (PG):

• Candidates must have passed graduation or equivalent degree in a pertinent discipline completed from an approved college/university.

• Candidate must have passed their graduation with an aggregate score of at least 55 percent.

• Subjects in graduation must include Food and Home Science, Biology, Clinical Nutrition and Biochemistry, Microbiology, Physiology, and Dietetics.
