Yes India is one of the countries listed on the UK's government website. These listed countries need to show a TB certificate confirming they are clear of TB when they apply for their visa. To become eligible for HWU the presented certificate must have been approved by Home Office test centres within 6 months as per validity

HWU aims to issue the CAS letter of the students within 5-10 working days of receipt of your CAS evidence quest form. In busy months like August it may take longer, or if the documents provided by the students are not complete at first submission, it may also take longer to complete the process.

For UG courses, students need to have an IELTS Academic score of 6.0 with no score lower than 5.5. Similarly, for PT, E this requirement is 63 (min 59), and for TOEFL iBT its 79 (including reading 18, listening 17, speaking 20, and writing 21)

Yes Heriot Watt has students from various nationalities, including Indian. Currently there are 1,130 Indians housed on the campus. So that Indian students don't feel lost, there are several organizations like Heriot-Watt Indian Society that celebrate Indian festivals like Diwali and Holi and help Indian students stay connected to their roots even in a foreign land.

Dubai campus of Heriot-Watt University is in Knowledge Park, UAE. The campus is a short distance from Dubai Marina, Dubai city centre, and Palm Jumeirah. Dubai Knowledge Park is adjacent to Dubai Internet City and Dubai Media city, which holds 500 businesses and is a centre of excellence for professional development and higher education.

For admission to Heriot-Watt Dubai MSc in Artificial Intelligence course, Indian students should submut a good relevant Honors degree with components of IT or Computing, which includes study of databases and programming. Students with Engineering or Mathematics background are also considered. Minimum IELTS score with 6.0 with no score lower than 5.5 is also required.

The application fee for Heriot-Watt University Dubai campus is AED 300 (Not applicable to MBA courses). This is around INR 7,300. Students can apply to this universit by accessing the direct online application. There is no application deadline to apply to this university and the admission are granted as per rolling policy. But, students must apply 6-10 months in advance as per their preferred admission intake.

Indian students who want to study at Heriot-Watt University Dubai are required to submit an IELTS score. Other equivalent test scores like TOEFL / PTE scores can also be submitted too. The minimum scores required in these tests at different study levels are given below:

Heriot-Watt Dubai Uni has received many accolades. In 2019, Heriot-Watt Uni Dubai was named one of the top universities in Dubai and was awarded 5-stars as per KHDA. It was one of the just three universities to be awarded five stars. Also, in the same year, Heriot Watt Dubai was crowned the 'Best University' in the first ever Forbes Middle East Higher Education Awards.

So, to take admission to this university, students have a relative good academic background. For admission to UG course, students must have completed high-school education with the minimum scores specified. Students who want to take admission to PG courses, a Bachelor's degree is required.
