Indian students applying for a student visa in the UK need to showcase proof of sufficient funds to support them in the UK. This amount includes the full tuition fee as stated on the offer and CAS letters plus maintenance or living costs of up to EUR 10,539 for studying at Heriot Watt Uni. HWU aims to issue the CAS letter of the students within 5-10 working days of receipt of your CAS evidence quest form. In busy months like August it may take longer, or if the documents provided by the students are not complete at first submission, it may also take longer to complete the process.

Yes Heriot Watt has students from various nationalities, including Indian. Currently there are 1,130 Indians housed on the campus. So that Indian students don't feel lost, there are several organizations like Heriot-Watt Indian Society that celebrate Indian festivals like Diwali and Holi and help Indian students stay connected to their roots even in a foreign land.
