For undergraduate courses, Heriot-Watt University aims to make decisions typically around Mid-May for the applications submitted in January. These decisions will be available on UCAS Track. In the case of postgraduate applications, all applications are carefully considered by the appropriate staff in the relevant school and the applicants are going to receive a response as soon as possible. - For most subjects, Heriot-Watt University requires an overall 70% in Year 12 state board high school examinations and at least 70% in the relevant subjects
- For students taking the West Bengal State Board examinations, the passing marks required by the university is 65%
