Yes, the Heriot-Watt Uni does allow Indian students to pay their fees in fixed installments. Students can opt for a six-month instalment plan by following the steps below:
- Go to the online payment portal
- Select 'Pay Your Fees Online'
- Log in
- Select 'Recurring Card Plan'
For all recurring card plans, instalments are taken on the 15th of the month.

Indian students need to make a GBP 4,000 (INR 5.1 Lakhs) deposit to confirm enrolment at the Heriot-Watt Uni UK. This deposit allows students to get their CAS letter from the university. The CAS can then be used to get the UK student visa to study in the country.

As per the US World & News rankings 2025, Heriot Watt University is ranked at #937 which is a huge decline from its previous year ranking of #832. These rankings are constantly declining over the years.
