The total seat intake for the BCom programme offered at Hindusthan College of Arts and Science is 960. HICAS BCom seat allotment is based on marks secured by candidates in the qualifying examination. Admission to the BCom programme is purely based on merit achieved by candidates, subject to the rules of reservation of the Government of Tamil Nadu. HICAS BCom seat reservation followed by the institute policy is as follows:

Students who are pursuing BCom programme at Hindusthan College of Arts and Science can avail various scholarships. These HICAS BCom scholarships can be availed by meritorious students, category students and, students who perform exceptionally well in sports activities. Apart from this, various other special scholarships can also be availed by HICAS BCom students.

HICAS BCom placements 2024 have not been concluded by the institute yet for the graduating batch but according to the NIRF report 2024, the HICAS BCom median package 2023 for UG three-year programme stood at INR 3.74 LPA for the graduating batch. Out of the total batch size of 2,184 for the three-year undergraduate programme, 1,866 students got placed across various national and multinational companies while 268 students opted for higher studies.

HICAS BCom placements 2024 have not been concluded by the institute. However, according to the NIRF report released for the year 2023, HICAS BCom the highest package for the graduating batch of 2022 stood at INR 8.2 LPA. The highest package offered for the BCom programme may vary every year depending upon the market conditions.
