3 year degrees are recognised by UGC and 4 year degrees and recognised by AICTE. The basic course curriculum is the same and even the industry does not differentiate between the two. Coming to your question, which is better. Well, there isn't a completely correct response to this. The plus side of 3 year degree is that you get into the job market a year earlier and the fees at 95% colleges is lower for these courses. The plus side of the 4 year degree is that in the case you wish to go for a Masters course overseas, you are eligible for admissions in all colleges whereas some colleges do not accept a 3 year course from an

MBA Hospitality & Travel Tourism is a two-year Earn-Learn - Earn, Work - Study - Work Program. B.Sc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration is generally for 3 years duration and in most of the colleges the admission will be based on NCHMCT JEE score, while BHM is for 4 years duration. Apart from this, there is no such major difference as both the degrees are equally recognised by industry and for other purposes.

The admission is done through Centralised Admission Process counselling based on the rank obtained in Maharashtra Hotel Management Common Entrance Test (MAH HM CET).
