Hospitality is the industry that comprises not only hotels, but also resorts, restaurants, cruises, casinos, etc. So, it's a much broader term. Still, if you're referring to educational courses, hospitality management and hotel management have a lot in common. And if you choose hotel management, it does't mean that in future you'll only be able to work in hotels. The name of the course (whether there is word "hospitality" or not) should be the deal breaker for you, there are a lot more factors to consider. For example, I study at Les Roches Chicago (Bachelor-degree hotel management course), and the reason I chose this school is that the programme offers good internship programs. This is probably the most important thing to look for, since hospitality is largely a practical field, and a Diploma won't help you in finding a job on graduation if you don't have any experience. Please opt for a full time Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as hospitality and hotel management etc. You may select the programme of your choice after going through the programme modules and syllabus, just know what you like and dislike, your interests and in which discipline of hotel management would you like to focus in. A qualification is necessary in this era and holding a degree from a good college is equally important. You have to check college websites and decide which course would be best for you. Colleges in France, Switzerland, Italy if you want to study abroad. India also has a terrific market in this sector and some of the very good institutes.

How to Get Admission in Master of Business Administration [MBA] (Hospitality):
To seek admission in MBA Hospitality Management, the admission process followed in some colleges is merit based, while some colleges conduct an entrance test followed by an interview round. Amity Universityconducts an Amity written test on the day of interview or gives admission on the basis of CAT/XAT, GMAT NMAT. Weightage of these Entrance Examination is 75%, 70% and 500 respectively. CAT:Common Admission Test CAT is an exam conducted for admission to MBA programs in many Management colleges in India. The skills tested in this exam are Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal and Reading Comprehension. The exam is generally carried out in the month of November. GMAT Graduate Management Admission Test GMAT is another exam conducted for admission to MBA programs. Students are screened on the basis of Analysis of an Argument, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative, Verbal skills. All these stages (entrance exams, group discussions and personal interview) determine the selection of the students in MBA Hospitality.
