There are four departments in the hotel industry:
Front office
F&B service
F&B production
Housekeeping
As per me I choose housekeeping as it has set timings for work. But again it depends on individual interests. You should choose a department among mentioned above of which you like the most. But, in catering colleges they educate you upon all the departments.

Based on your graduation class, you can check Australia and New Zealand. Every university has different admission requirements so please check the minimum requirements on college websites. TAFE institutes in Australia and vocational institutions in NZ could be some wise options.
