Hi, The JAM eligibility criteria notified by IIT Bombay, which is the Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. Programmes conducting body mention some common as well as some specific criteria for each of the offered programmes in the JAM participating institutes. M.Sc. Applied Geology: Geology for three years/ six semesters and any two subjects among Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry.

Yes, the B.Com degree which is obtained from Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University is valid to apply for all government jobs. The YCMOU is recognised by Government of Maharashtra and University Grants Commission (UGC). Since, the university is recognised, your degree is valid to apply for government jobs.

A minimum aggregate score of 50% in graduation is a requisite for admission. A minimum aggregate score of 55% at post-graduate level is mandatory for admission into colleges for the B.

It totally depends on choice and future career plans. Both courses are good. Actually B.A. Is general course in which you can choose subjects as per your choice but in B.A. Honours Political Science you have political Science subject in final year and it is more specialised if you wish to pursue further in that field. It is recommended for IAS aspirants to pursue B.A. Political sciences. Good Luck!

For admission in MA, you need to have 40% in graduation. Preference is given to the candidates with the background of sociology, social anthropology, history, political science, economics, social work, women studies and other social science disciplines in graduation.
