Cape Breton University accepts a range of English Language proficiency exams including IELTS for international students. The English Language requirements required are given as follows:

The minimum IELTS score requirement for a Bachelor of Engineering at the Unitec Institute of Technology is 6.0. Writing and speaking scores must not be lower than 6.0 and listening band must not be less than 5.5. Unitec Insitute of Technology offers separate eligibility score for different programs. Candidate can take the IELTS test in another country with certain conditions. They need a passport or National Identity Card for registration. In case of a different identity document inform the test center or you will not be allowed to take the exam or refund as well. Since, IELTS test is conducted in more than 100 countries it is best to take the IELTS exam in your city and country. It is always convenient and better to attempt such exams in your own counrty unless there are other genuine exceptions.
