Enquiry on Result (EoR) or EOR for IELTS academic test means having your IELTS test re-marked. For that, EoR must be applied within 6 weeks of the test date. You can choose to remark only one section or all of the sections. You must download and complete the EoR form, submit your original TRF and pay an enquiry fee of INR 11,625. The whole process of getting scores re-marked will take additional 6-8 weeks to process. 

Note that if your result ends up getting marked upward, you will receive a full refund of the enquiry fee and a new TRF. You can apply for five extra copies of the TRF to be sent to receiving colleges/universities free of charge. But if your result remains unchanged, no refund will be issued.

The IELTS Reading test consists of 40 questions of different types, such as multiple choice, True/False/Not Given, matching, and sentence completion. Your IELTS Reading score is based on how many of the 40 questions you answer correctly. Each correct answer is worth one point. Your total number of correct answers is your "raw score." This raw score is then converted into a band score. It is important to try to answer every question, even if you are not sure of the answer. A blank answer will get you no points. The tables below show the average number of marks required to achieve a particular band score in Academic Reading and General Training Reading.

To check the result of IELTS exam conducted by IDP, test takers can follow these steps:

1. Go to the IDP IELTS results website
2. Enter your given name (s), family name, and passport or ID number.
3. Click on the "Check your results" button.
4. Your results will be displayed on the screen.
5. Please note that your results available online are not official. They are provisional until you receive your official Test Report Form (TRF). Your TRF will be sent to you by mail by your test centre.

In the event that the candidate is unable to view his IELTS results online, please contact your test centre. They will be able to help you troubleshoot the issue. Once you have your IELTS results, you can start sending them to the institutions or organizations that you are applying to. You can also use your results to track your progress over time.

Note:

• IELTS on Computer: Results are available online within 3-5 days after your test date. Your TRF will be posted 3-5 days after your test date.
• IELTS on paper: Results are available online at 12:00 a.m. GMT on the 13th day after the test. Your TRF will be posted 13 days after your test date.
