Yes, demonstrating English language proficiency is mandatory for Indian students and as a result they are required to submit a valid score in the IELTS or TOEFL exam

The minimum IELTS score deemed acceptable by the university is 6.0, while the minimum acceptable TOEFL scores are:  580 in Paper-based, 237 in Computer-based, and 85 in Internet-based format.

Note: The institute does not accept IELTS-Home Edition scores.

Yes, IELTS is required at Deakin University for international students. International students whose native language is not English, are required to submit proof of English proficiency at Deakin.
