Yes, King's College London does require IELTS score, to determine an applicant's proficiency of verbal & written English.

The minimum IELTS score requirement may vary for different courses, however, the general requirements at the UG & PG level are mentioned below, along with the minimum requirements for some other language proficiency tests:

Yes, international applicants coming from diverse countries to the University of California, San Francisco must demonstrate their English language proficiency to be admitted to any program. They must score a minimum IELTS score of 7 or above. In addition, they must submit TOEFL scores as well. The English language requirements for international students at UCSF are given below:
