No, it is not compulsory to take TOEFL or IELTS. They only ask you to submit the score of one of these exam. If you don't want to take, then it's okay.

I have completed 10th with 74% and 12th with 71% in science stream. I got 6.0 band in IELTS. Am I eligible to study in UK?

Hi,
I am also planning to study in UK for my undergraduate degree. For study in the UK, you want to take at least 6.5 band in IELTS with 6.0 band, you can't study in UK.

It is less likely that you can secure an admission in USA or Canada only on basis of IELTS which is an English language proficiency test. GRE is an absolute must to pursue PG programs in USA. PG Diploma courses in Canada could be an option if you are interested. Also every university has

Hi Mitesh, IELTS is an exam for English language proficiency which you must clear to study in Canada right. Colleges have different IELTS score requirement. If you want to study in Canada then you must start the application process and taking these tests like IELTS around one year before your desire

Yes, you can apply. SPP colleges welcome Indian Students. Though your percentage in B.Tech is a little low, but some Colleges will accept you.
