The Indian Institute of Information Technology Sri City good for placements. the 2022 placement data , the highest package was INR 85LPA and the lowest package was INR 7.5 LPA. The average package of the institution was around INR 15.7LPA. The average package for the CSE brance was INR 16.87 LPA and the average package for ECE branch was INR 10.01 LPA.the top recruiters of Indian Institute of Information Technology Sri City, Chittoor were Amazon, Cognizant, HP, Microsoft, Samsung, Google, etc.

The candidates join Indian Institute of Information Technology Sri City by qualiffying the certain entrence exam. For admission in BE/BTech one has to qualify the exams like JEE Main conducted by NTA, DASA UG, Andhra Pradesh EAMCET and get a very good All India rank. For admission in MTech, one has to qualify exams like GATE, CCMT with good ALL INDIA rank. For admission in Ph.D one has to clear the interview which is conducted by the institute .

For admission to the BTech course of IIIT Sri City candidates are required to appear for JEE Mains and for M.Tech admissions, IIIT Sri City accepts GATE.

Apply for IIIT Sri City BTech is based on rank secured in JEE Mains followed by counselling conducted by JoSAA/ CSAB. For MTech, candidates have to appear for GATE or for Non-GATE candidates, the selection is based on either merit or an entrance exam conducted by IIIT Sri City.

The selection process of IIIT Sri City M.Tech for Non-GATE is divided into two categories a)Non-GATE candidates with an undergraduate degree from CFTI institutes b) Non-GATE General candidates (Non-CFTI or CFTI with less than 8.0 CGPA).
Selection process for both the categories is mentioned below:
Non GATE Candidates with an Undergraduate degree from CFTI Institutes
- The candidates will be selected on the basis of merit in the qualifying degree. Candidate must have scored a minimum of 8.0 CGPA to fall under this category.
- Shortlisted candidates have to appear for a Coding Test and Personal Interview conducted by IIIT Sri City.
