IIIT Sri City - Indian Institute of Information Technology

IIIT Sri City is located about 60 KMs from Chennai on the Nellore Highway. The nearest airports are Tirupati (70 KMs) and Chennai (70 KMs). The college has modern state-of-the-art software and hardware laboratories, classrooms, library and modern workspace. Reaching this campus is quite easy as a lot of transportation facilities are available from airport to the college.

IIIT Sri City shifted to a new campus in 2018. The classroom infrastructure includes a total of 15 fully air conditioned classrooms that are equipped with several modern audio visual aids. The college classrooms are enabled with several lecture capturing tools. The college has two research centres, Centre for Smart Cities (CSC) and Ministry of Education initiated Design and Innovation Centre (DIC). 

Yes, IIIT Sri City offers scholarships to students. These scholarships are provided in the form of financial assistance. The mode of IIIT Sri City admission is online. Admission to various courses is based on merit and entrance exam scores. The accepted entrance exams are JEE Main,  DASA UG, and others. The basic eligibility criteria to apply for admission to BTech  courses offered at IIIT Sri City is Class 12 with a minimum of 75% aggregate with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subject as compulsory subjects.

IIIT Sri City houses two-blocks of hostels and a large dining facility. In addition to this, the institute has rented apartments for PhD and PG students in the Sri City township. The work for students’ hostels is under progress, therefore, IIIT Sri City has leased out apartments within Sri City and neighboring areas for providing accommodation to students. Each room in the hostel is provided with a bed, table, chair and cupboard.
