No, they are not equipped with AC and attached bathroom. The food in mess is okay and easily manageable. The menu is different for every day includes egg and a dish for breakfast with milk, tea , coffee and fruits; while for lunch and dinner, includes 2 vegetables, dal, rice, chapatis , salad and fruit/ dessert

I guess my answer would be biased towards Indore. However in terms of interaction with my friends, I have found both of them at similar level only. However if you want to know specifically about something, I might tell you how it works in Indore. Do write if you need specific clarifications

IIM Indore is pretty well in terms of infrastructure and academics offered. There are a lot of opportunities for different field enthusiast to take part in multiple clubs and events.
I have taken up Finance as my preferred domain, but first year is general MBA which is same for everyone. And yes the faculty is very good over here and since I like the subject, it is doable.

NO, recruitment is a centralised process and one has to clear CAT to seek admission. However there is a quota system ,wherein seats are kept reserved for SC/ST/army/agriculture graduates/etc and students from the said area are given admission based on their rank in CAT under the specific quota system

They are in fact more important than CAT marks. IIM. Indore gives 35% weightage to 10th and 12th marks each, and less than 30 to CAT.
