Yes, its hard to get admission at IIM Jammu. Admission to MBA programme is based on CAT scores. After the release of CAT results, the institute shortlists the candidate based on CAT scores, work experience, academic performance, and other factors. Admission to various courses is based on merit, written tests, personal interviews, and entrance exam scores.

IIM Amritsar and IIM Jammu both offer MBA admission based on the CAT entrance exam. The final CAT cutoff is comparatively higher for IIM Amritsar (95-96) than IIT Jammu (90) for the General AI category students. IIM Jammu cutoff 2024 is yet to be released soon after CAT 2024 results. IIM Jammu generally releases two types of cutoffs, the first is qualifying and the second is, the final cutoff for WAT/PI. As per the IIM Jammu CAT cutoff 2023, the final cutoff for WAT/PI stood at 90. Similarly, for 2022 and 2021, the final cutoff was the same at 90 percentiles. So, going with the trend, we can say that the final composite score cutoff in 2024 will not exceed the 95 percentile.

IIM Jammu has gaines recognition in the management education landscape in such a shorter spam. Many faculty members have experience from top institutions. The institute has been successfully placing students in reputable companies. It has a good track record of placements. Students at IIM Jammu interact with peers from various backgrounds.
