The percentage vary as per the cousres at IIM Udaipur. Thec course-wise percentile required to get into IIMU are as follows:

| MBA | Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate from a recognised University |
| Certificate | Class 12 or equivalent and Bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50% |
| Executive MBA | Candidates with a minimum of 12 years of school education and a minimum of three years of university education with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline. Minimum three years of full-time post qualification experience as on May 07, 2025 |
| PhD | A Master's Degree in any discipline, with at least 55% aggregate, and Bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification with at least 50 % aggregate (minimum three years of bachelor's level education after the completion of higher secondary schooling).A professional qualification (completed) such as CA (ICAI), ICWA, CS with a Bachelor's degree |

Candidates should have the following documents ready with them while doing registration for CAT for IIM Visakhapatnam MBA admission:
- Photograph
- Signature
- Qualifying examination marksheets
- Certificate for SC/ ST/ EWS/ NC-OBC category candidates
- PwD certificate (if applicable)

The MBA students at IIM Visakhapatnam must have following documents ready with them during the time of registration:
- Income Certificate
- IT Returns for the last two years
- Household Savings documents
- Property documents
- Other asset documents
- Loan Documents (if any)

IIM Visakhapatnam scholarships can be availed by MBA students. The students who belong to the economically-weaker section can avail these scholarships. PGP students with annual household income below INR 5 Lacs are eligible to apply for financial aid. IIM Vishakhapatnam MBA scholarships are merit-based and applicants are provided with 100% or 25% of financial aid as tuition fee waiver.
