There are a total of 180 seats for the MBA programmes offered by the institute. Hence, there are 60 seats each under the each course specialisations. The institute further follows the reservation policies of the government of India. In addition, the seat intake mentioned here is as per the official website/sanctioning body. IIM Visakhapatnam accepts the scores and percentile obtained by candidates in the CAT exam for IIM Visakhapatnam course admissions. Candidates who want to take admission to the PGP or MBA programme offered by the institute must prepare diligently for CAT exam and further must prepare for Personal Interview round. IIM Visakhapatnam admission is based on CAT examination percentile obtained by candidates and their performance in Personal Interview. IIM Vishakhapatnam eligibility criteria for PGP/ MBA programme is a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for candidates who belong to SC/ ST/ PwD category) or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Ministry of Education, Government of India (including the Associate Membership Examination (AMICE) of the Institution of Civil Engineers (India) as an equivalent qualification).

IIM Vishakhapatnam application form has been closed for admission in the batch of 2024-2026. The institute will release a Personal Interview shortlist between Mar 25 to Mar 28, 2024 and the shortlisted candidates will need to accept the Interview call by filling out the Interview Consent form.
