The percentage vary as per the cousres at IIM Udaipur. Thec course-wise percentile required to get into IIMU are as follows:

Course namePercentage Required
MBA

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate from a recognised University

Certificate

Class 12 or equivalent and Bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50%

Executive MBA

Candidates with a minimum of 12 years of school education and a minimum of three years of university education with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline. Minimum three years of full-time post qualification experience as on May 07, 2025

PhD

A Master's Degree in any discipline, with at least 55% aggregate, and Bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification with at least 50 % aggregate (minimum three years of bachelor's level education after the completion of higher secondary schooling).A professional qualification (completed) such as CA (ICAI), ICWA, CS with a Bachelor's degree

Candidates should have the following documents ready with them while doing registration for CAT for IIM Visakhapatnam MBA admission:

  • Photograph
  • Signature
  • Qualifying examination marksheets
  • Certificate for SC/ ST/ EWS/ NC-OBC category candidates
  • PwD certificate (if applicable)

  • Income Certificate
  • IT Returns for the last two years
  • Household Savings documents
  • Property documents
  • Other asset documents
  • Loan Documents (if any)

IIM Visakhapatnam scholarships can be availed by MBA students. The students who belong to the economically-weaker section can avail these scholarships. PGP students with annual household income below INR 5 Lacs are eligible to apply for financial aid. IIM Vishakhapatnam MBA scholarships are merit-based and applicants are provided with 100% or 25% of financial aid as tuition fee waiver.

IIM Visakhapatnam MBA admission will be made through CAT scores only. Although the CAT conducting body hasn't released any official date to conduct CAT 2026 exam, but tentatively CAT MBA registration process 2026 can tentatively begin between Aug 26 to Sep 26 and the CAT Admit card can be out between Oct 26 and Nov 26.

There are a total of 180 seats for the MBA programmes offered by the institute. Hence, there are 60 seats each under the each course specialisations. The institute further follows the reservation policies of the government of India. In addition, the seat intake mentioned here is as per the official website/sanctioning body. However, it is subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

IIM Visakhapatnam accepts the scores and percentile obtained by candidates in the CAT exam for IIM Visakhapatnam course admissions. Candidates who want to take admission to the PGP or MBA programme offered by the institute must prepare diligently for CAT exam and further must prepare for Personal Interview round. IIM Visakhapatnam admission is based on CAT examination percentile obtained by candidates and their performance in Personal Interview.
