Candidates seeking admission to PGP programme in IIM Visakhapatnam are firstly required to apply for the CAT exam. The candidates must visit the official website of CAT to register. The registration process requires to upload required documents and submitting a fee of  INR 2,400 (General category) and INR 1,200 (Reserved category). Yes IIM Visakhapatnam have sectional cutoff. IIM Vishakhapatnam admission the MBA programme is based on both sectional and overall cutoff. IIM Visakhapatnam release the qualifying cutoff before the CAT exam every year. The qualifying CAT cutoff release in different sections, including Quantitative Aptitude (QA), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR), Verbal & Reading Comprehension (VRC) along with the overall cutoff. IIM Ranchi accepts CAT scores, followed by a Personal Interview round for admission to the managaement courses. CAT cutoff 2024 percentile for IIM Visakhapatnam depends on the following factors:

  • Difficulty level of the exam

IIM Vishakhapatnam is one of the most recent IIM established in the year 2015 under the mentorship of IIM Bangalore. Accoeding to the verified Shiksha Reviews, IIM Vizag has received good reviews from alumni and students regarding the placements, infrastructure and faculty members.

IIM Visakhapatnam haven't mentioned any fees for the PhD programme. The institution do provide financial support to the candidates pursuing PhD in any specilisation.  PhD Program students in good standing will receive a stipend of INR 30,000 per month in the first year with a 10% annual increment up to a maximum of five years in addition to tuition fee waiver. 

Contingency Grant:
  • Rs.75,000 (in Year 1) and 
  • Rs.25,000 (annually from Year 2 to Year 5) 
  • Hostel accommodation will not be provided. HRA of Rs.7,500 per month will be given
  • Financial support for attending National / International Conferences.
