IIT Indore is good and I'm satisfied with my college placements and really good infrastructure. Placements: In my course last year, the average package was about 12–14 LPA. The highest package was 74 LPA and the lowest was 6 LPA, and in my course, 18 LPA was the average package.The NIRF ranks IITI at 13th place out of the top 100 engineering institutes. Yes, there is a Placement and Training Cell at IIT Indore to help students with enhancement of skills and preparation of job interviews. The institute invites top companies in campus to offer placement opportunities to students. IIT Indore recorded 89.76% placements for BTech and 65.38% placements for M.Tech batch passed out in 2023. IIT Indore offers UG, PG, Dual Degrees and PhD courses in the streams of Engineering and Science. The institute provides full time specialisations in courses such as BTech, MTech, MS, MSc, and PhD.
At the UG level, programs include BTech in disciplines including Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering. At the PG level, programs include MTech, MS in History, English, Philosophy and MSc in Chemistry, Astronomy, Mathematics, etc. Only two PhD courses are offered by the institute, namely PhD in Computer Science and Engineering and PhD in Electrical Engineering.
