IIT Jammu BTech cutoff 2026 is out for various categories under the AI quota. For the General category, the JEE Advanced Round 1 closing ranks ranged between 6738 and 15757, with Computer Science and Engineering being the most competitive for admission. As per the JEE Advanced cutoff 2026 for Round 1, the IIT Jammu CSE cutoff was 6738 for General AI category students. For IIT Goa and IIT Bhilai, the first-round closing ranks for the same specialisations were 6448 and 7981, respectively. So, comparing the cutoff ranks, IIT Jammu has a lenient cutoff as compared to IIT Goa for admission. On the other hand, IIT Goa had the most competitive cutoff for admission to the CSE branch. 

The IIT Jammu JEE Advanced cutoff concluded after Round 6 of the seat allotment result for BTech admission across multiple specialisations. For the General AI quota, the cutoff ranks ranged between 5988 and 18156, including all the rounds. Please note that the cutoff range varies across different categories. For the students belonging to the General AI quota, the maximum closing rank required for BTech admission was 15757. Considering the first round, candidates must target a lower cutoff rank than the one mentioned here to confirm their seats at IIT Jammu. 

The IIT Jammu JAM cutoff 2024 was concluded after the release of it's last round. The cutoff ranks closed at the range of 734-879, among the General AI category candidates. Therefore, it is possible to get IIT Jammu with this rank in IIT JAM.The Cutoff ranks for the last-round in respect of the General AI category is given in the table below:

Yes, it is 100% possible to get into IIT Jammu for BTech with a JEE Advanced rank equal to or less than 12000. However, the same is not possible across all specialisations. General category students of All India Category can get into BTech in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical and Materials Engineering branch if we go by the closing ranks of 2023. IIT Jammu - Indian Institute of Technology released 6 rounds of JEE Advanced cutoffs for admission to BTech. The cutoffs were released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs are based on the following factors:

The JEE Advanced score of the candidate
The category of the candidate
The number of seats available in the course

Other than the General category, the IIT Jammu BTech cutoff 2026 has been released for OBC, SC, ST, EWS and PWD categories under the AI quota. Candidates can refer to the table below to view the first-round closing range for BTech admission across different categories. 

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 4458 and closing rank was 4856. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 1496 and 9840. Admission to B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering in IIT Jammu - Indian Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE Advanced. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

For IIT Jammu cutoff 2023 was 16786 for General category candidates in All India quota for B.Tech. in Civil Engineering in IIT Jammu - Indian Institute of Technology. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 23299 was the closing rank. B.Tech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

IIT Jammu admissions 2024 are based on JEE Main 2024 ranks followed by JEE Advanced ranks and further followed by JoSAA Counselling. Candidates seeking admission to the BTech must appear for JEE Main and JEE Advanced in order to be eligible for further admission process.
