Hi Anshika, the answer to your question is yes. Maths is offered as an M.Sc. Programme at IIT kgp and according to the officials almost 98% students have been successful in getting the placement of their choice. These recruiters offer the average salary in the range of 9.00-12.00 Lacs per annum. Goo

The candidate is expected to appear in a paper appropriate to the discipline of his/her qualifying degree. The candidate can also choose any other papers of GATE 2021, however, it is better to choose a paper in line with the eligibility criteria of the institutions/organizations in which he/she wish
