IIT Madras - Indian Institute of Technology Ranking

IIT Madras Research Park (IITMRP) aims to build a knowledge & innovation ecosystem. IIT Madras has been ranked 180 by the QS World University Rankings 2026. The below is the international ranking:

As per the NIRF ranking 2024, Indian Institute of Technology, (IIT) Madras emerged to be the No. 1 Engineering college in India. For the sixth consecutive year,  IIT Madras has maintained its status as the top college overall and as the finest engineering school for the eighth consecutive year. Indian Institute of Technology, (IIT) Delhi retained its position as the No. 2 among the Engineering category.

DoMS IIT Madras is ranked 15 under the Management category by NIRF 2023. GATE, DoMS offers an MBA as its flagship course. Hence, it is a very high ranked college. To get admission to this high ranked college, candidates must have valid scores in entrance exams like CAT,  GATE,  UGC NET, and others. Candidates must attempt as many CAT question papers as possible and study according to the CAT Syllabus.
