This programme aims towards creating skillful graduates with specialisation in Data Science and Data Engineering domain which emphasizes comprehensive knowledge through courses like data engineering, data visualization, data modeling, big data analytics and predictive analytics. The programme encompasses Data Science as an interdisciplinary, problem-solving oriented domain.

a).Upto Rs. 20,000/- per student for Designing a Programme/ Software/ Mobile App.

b).Rs. 2 Lacs to Rs. 5 Lacs per project for StartUp/ Entrepreneurial Venture.

c).Upto Rs. 10000/- Seed Grant for Innovation/ Research activities.

3.Courses by Industry Experts

a).Around 40% courses to be taught in online/ blended mode by Industry experts.

3.Bootcamps/ Datathons:Well-structured and short term, intense training sessions designed to prepare students for the practical reality through bootcamps. Students will be required to participate in various national and international competitions like Datathons.

The Eligibility of the programme is 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or CUET.

The opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For the General category under All India, opening rank was 5365 and closing rank was 5374. The cutoffs are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 8323 and 8618. Admission to Integrated B.Tech. + M.Tech. in Engineering Design (Automotive Engineering) in IIT Madras - Indian Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.
