Students have to submit some documents during IIT Mandi application and admission process. The general list is as below:
- the latest passport-size photograph
- First and last pages of Aadhaar Card/ Voter ID Card/ Passport
- PAN Card
- Admission offer letter
- Entrance exam scorecard
- Qualifying degree certificate
- Qualifying exam mark sheet
- Category certificate (only in case of candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS/ PwD category)
- No objection certificate (only in case of part-time applicants)
- Sponsorship certificate/ Relieving letter (in case of full-time sponsored/ full-time working candidates)
- Medical certificate - in case of full-time candidates

IIT Mandi fees is different for each programme. Students have to pay the amount to complete the admission process. The fees has to be paid yearly/ semester-wise and is as below:

Yes, students can get admission in IIT Mandi with a rank of 10000 in JEE Advanced. But at this rank, admission to the top specialisations, such as CSE would not be possible. Students can get admission in Mechanical Engineering, General Engineering, Engineering Physics, and more. Interested students can go through the past year cutoff records to know more.

Yes, students can get admission in IIT Mandi without JEE exam. But this is not applicable for the flagship BTech programme. For BTech admission at any IIT, students have to appear for JEE Main + Advanced exams. However, for the other programmes, such as MBA, MTech, BSc, etc., other exams are accepted.

Students have to meet the IIT Mandi course eligibility to get admission in the institute. The selection process is entrance-based. The common minimum eligibility is as below:
- IIT Mandi UG eligibility - Class 12 with relevant subjects + minimum of 75% aggregate
- IIT Mandi PG eligibility - UG degree in relevant field
- IIT Mandi PhD eligibility - PG degree in relevant field

No, IIT Mandi does not offer direct admissions. Students have to clear the admission requirements to get admission. The institute offers seats through entrance + counselling basis only. Students can check the eligibility online.

If the seat allotment is done in JoSAA counselling for BTech in IIT Mandi, then the fee is not refunded whether the candidate joins the course or not. It is refundable in cases where student joins the course after paying remaining fee and leaves on or before registration date and applies for a fee refund.
