IIT Patna - Indian Institute of Technology

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Patna is launching six unique academic programmes that would not require the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) score. Interested candidates will be able to apply for these programmes at the official website of IIT Patna: iitp.ac.in. There are multiple channels for entry to these new programmes of study, such as a valid score on the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Main), Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2022), SAT (US), National Talent Search Exam (NTSE), Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY), INSPIRE, state-level entrance, and IITP-SAT. The new programmes being launched are BSc (Hons) Computer Science and Data Analytics (CSDA), BSc (Hons) Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity (AICS), BSc (Hons) Mathematics and Computer Science (MCS), BSc (Hons) Accounting and Financial Management (AFM), BSc (Hons) in Business Management and Analytics (BMA), and Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA).

The JEE Main Session - II exam has started. With the exception of April 7, 9, and 14, the second session of this exam will be held between April 6 and April 15. Patna, or Patliputra, has been a centre of knowledge and has been seen to attract visitors and scholars from different parts of the world for a long time. Indian Institute of Technology also established one of its new centres in Patna, the IIT Patna. The institute was established in 2008 with only three departments, which have now expanded to ten.
Candidates have a better opportunity for further studies after CSE, as they'll be provided with numerous categories for admission. They can opt for an MTech or PhD in CSE for further studies at IIT Patna. For admissions, candidates should have a BTech degree in Computer Science or Information Technology and must hold a valid GATE score in CS. Project Staff: For candidates who are already working on a sponsored project in the institute and later admitted to the MTech programme to work on a full-time or part-time basis.
Part-time: for professionally employed candidates (including the staff of the institute) who pursue the course while continuing their services.
To encourage competence in students and support them in higher studies, IIT Patna offers many scholarships and fellowships to its students. The students can also avail of scholarships provided by the state, central government, or other funding agencies and achieve their dream of higher studies at IIT Patna after CSE. Regular Indian students are provided assistantships of INR 12,400 per month with valid and qualifying GATE scores.

Hostel: IIT Patna accommodates two boys' hostels and one girl's hostel on its campus in an area of 28849 sq m.Each building has a balcony, window, cupboard, and other niches for each room. All the safety measures are taken care of, along with the Wi-Fi, TV, water cooler, and other basic facilities. Two common rooms, for recreational and co-curricular activities, are also available in the hostel. Married research scholars can also avail of the residential facility at the college.
For a healthy diet for a large number of students, two mess halls in the boys' hostel and one mess hall in the girls' hostel are set up that provide hygienic breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. A mess secretary is selected who decides the menu every week. Various other food joints and canteens are also available in the food court.
Gymnasium: The boys' hostel accommodates the gymnasium, which has all the basic exercise equipment like dumbbells, barbells, etc., as well as the major equipment like treadmills, exercise bikes, cables and pulleys, leg extension machines, and others. The college also organises various inter-hostel and inter-departmental competitions.
Students Gymkhana: IIT Patna actively promotes sports activities among its
