Considered one of the best IITs, IIT Bombay is well-known for its robust engineering and research programs. It is constantly rated as one of India's top engineering schools. There are other IITs, though, that are quite well-known and in great demand among students. In terms of academic standing and general renown, some of the IITs that are frequently compared to or on par with IIT Bombay include:

IIT Delhi: The engineering curriculum, research output, and industrial partnerships of IIT Delhi are well respected. It is widely used in management studies, electrical engineering, and computer science.

IIT Kanpur: This university is renowned for emphasising innovation and research. Offering a broad range of engineering and technology programmes, especially in computer science, electrical engineering, and aerospace engineering, it has a competent faculty.

IIT Madras: IIT Madras is renowned for its top-notch academic offerings, state-of-the-art research facilities, and partnerships with businesses. It excels especially in mechanical, chemical, and computer Science engineering.

IIT Kharagpur: Offering a wide variety of academic programmes, IIT Kharagpur is the oldest IIT in India. It is well known for its entrepreneurship programmes, industrial partnerships, and research output.

Both FIITJEE and Aakash are popular and reputed coaching institutes for JEE preparation.

The different strengths and weaknesses of FIITJEE and Aakash are listed below:

1.Fee Structure:

FIITJEE charges a higher fee than Aakash, but it also offers scholarships and discounts based on merit and performance.

 Aakash has a lower fee, but it may not offer as many benefits or concessions as FIITJEE.

2.Study Material:

FIITJEE provides comprehensive and updated study material that covers the entire syllabus of JEE Main and Advanced.
 Aakash also offers quality study material, but some students may find it insufficient or too easy for the advanced level.

3.Test Series: 

FIITJEE conducts regular tests that are aligned with the latest exam pattern and difficulty level of JEE. 

Aakash also conducts tests, but they may not be as challenging or realistic as FIITJEE’s.

4.Faculty: 

FIITJEE is known for its experienced and qualified faculty who are experts in their subjects and have a good track record of producing rankers. 
Aakash also has well-trained and dedicated faculty, but they may focus more on the medical entrance exams than the engineering ones.

Not getting into IIT Delhi or any other top IIT should not be considered an end to a student’s career. While IIT Delhi gave an average package of INR 17.6 LPA to its 2023 placements batch, can IIT Delhi guarantee the same for each and every student of the batch? The answer is no.
