Yes, IIT Tirupati has 6 multistoried hostel blocks for the students. The hostel rooms are allocated on a sharing basis. The hostels are separate for girls and boys, faculty, and staff members. IIT Tirupati hostels are spacious and have study areas, Wi-Fi, and round-the-clock water and electricity facilities. Each hostel is designed with recreational rooms and a strong focus on safety. The Electronics Engineering course fees for BTech in the IITs and NITs are a bit expensive because of the reputation, ranking, and student popularity that they enjoy. It depends on the specialisation and the category you belong to. IIT JAM cutoffs vary for different specialisations, rounds, and categories. For the SC AI category, the IIT JAM 2025 cutoff ranged between 1014 and 2451 for MSc admission across multiple specialisations. So, with a cutoff rank of 1200, there is a chance you will gain admission at IIT Tirupati. However, the chances are that you will need to wait until the last round to see which specialisations are available based on your cutoff rank. Considering the IIT JAM last-round cutoff 2025, the closing ranks varied between 307 and 686 for the General AI category students.
