With an EWS rank of 41000, here is what to expect:
It is nearly impossible to get into a NIT or top IIIT for CSE branch as the EWS or OBC closing rank for this course usually comes below 10000. It is only the new NITs that may allow you into any branches such as electrical engineering or computer engineering depending on individual NIT's criteria and sometimes may allow to convert towards CSE/ IT branch if you are beyond 40000 - 45000 rank.

BHU offers a two-year full-time MSc course via its IIT BHU college. The institute accepts the IIT JAM entrance exam scores, followed by its counselling rounds for admission. During the last round, the IIT BHU JAM cutoff 2025 varied between 325 and 409 for the students belonging to the General AI quota. There is not a fix number but several faculty members hold PhDs, including from IITs and NITs, especially in CSE and ECE.

That is very true, you can very well get admission in online M.Sc. courses in some of the IITs even without a GATE score. Late developments IITs such as IIT Madras, IIT Kanpur and IIT Bhilai now offer specialisation based special "e-Masters" or online M.Sc. courses which mainly cater to the needs of working professionals who want flexible study. Access to these online courses is normally based on your undergraduate performance as well as your job related experience in some cases and an internal online exam or interview by the particular IIT. At GATE XE socket 600, you stand a good chance of getting admissions into at least some IITs in the M.Tech course and specifically in interdisciplinary courses or opting under the same which considers XE, you have a better chance.
