With an IIT JAM rank of 3800 and a BSc score above 70%, you have a good chance of getting into a decent NIT for an MSc program. While you might not get into the top-tier NITs like NIT Trichy, NIT Warangal, or NIT Surathkal, you should be able to secure a seat in other good NITs such as NIT Calicut, NIT Rourkela, or NIT Durgapur, especially for subjects like Physics, Chemistry, or Mathematics.

There are many IITs and NITs, like IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Madras, IIT Hyderabad, NIT Surathkal and NIT Rourkela where you can find dedicated UG and PG programs in AI and ML or AI and Data Science, which include deep learning knowledge as a part of the classroom syllabus. But if you're asking about standalone courses in Deep Learning, unfortunately, none of the IITs or NITs offer the same at present.

IITs and NITs usually do not offer specific subject modules or electives with a focus on ChatGPT, but you can look forward to some related concepts of AI and machine learning technology, which are becoming very prominent in recent times. You can study full time courses like BTech in AI and Data Science and BTech in AI & ML offered at these top institutes, with a focus on machine learning, NLP, LLMs, and AI basics, all of which are related to ChatGPT applications.

NISER uses the score of IIT JAM Biotechnology (BT) to select Integrated MSc-PhD in Biological Sciences. Although they do not have a specific cutoff rank to be directly admitted as well, an extremely high JAM BT rank is required to get shortlisted and subsequently have an interview as this is a very important step in their selection. Yes, you can pursue MSc in Mathematics at Indian Institute of Technology IIT with having BA in Mathematics but you'll need to meet the eligibility criteria and selection process.

For pursuing Masters in Sciences in Mathematics you must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline with minimum 55% aggregate marks from a recognised university.

Additionally you'll need to qualify the IIT JAM Joint Admission Test for Masters entrance exam which is important for admission.

IIT Dharwad is a college in which the total B.Tech fee is estimated to be about INR 9.19 Lakhs in the scientific 2025-2026 year. This amounts to about 8 Lakhs in terms of tuition pay and the rest of the money accounts to hostel costs, mess bills and other institutional facilities. Tuition fees are waived completely in case of SC/ST/PwD students.
