The Electronics Engineering course fees for BTech in the IITs and NITs are a bit expensive because of the reputation, ranking, and student popularity that they enjoy. Talking about the IITs, the BTech Electronics Engineering course fees is around INR 8 lakh, and for the NITs, the fees is approximately INR 5 lakh, which is subject to change as per new academic sessions every year.

It depends on the specialisation and the category you belong to. IIT JAM cutoffs vary for different specialisations, rounds, and categories. For the SC AI category, the IIT JAM 2025 cutoff ranged between 1014 and 2451 for MSc admission across multiple specialisations. So, with a cutoff rank of 1200, there is a chance you will gain admission at IIT Tirupati. However, the chances are that you will need to wait until the last round to see which specialisations are available based on your cutoff rank.
