The National University of Singapore is better than IIT in terms of global rankings, academic excellence, learning experience, and excellent faculty. NUS is generally ranked among the top 20 universities globally, whereas IIT is ranked outside the top 100. However, some of the IITs ranked under 100 for subject-specific rankings.

IIT is a major famous in India for Engineering and Technology and provides excellent opportunities to students. On the other hand, NUS provides various exchange programs, focuses more on learning experience, and is inclined towards extracurricular activities. Both NUS and IIT have having good placement history.

Unfortunately, none of the IITs or NITs offer a dedicated Data Management course yet, but you can have a look at related courses like BTech in AI and Data Science, BSc in Data Science or BTech CSE with some elective modules on Data Management basics. These related courses also give you a strong foundation that can further be taken forward by advanced certifications in Data Management software and tools.
