If you have confidence in yourself, then take a drop; otherwise go with a private college.

Hello!
UCCEED examination is of total 300 marks. Out of these total 300 marks, you got 140 and you are of OBC category, For OBC category student, in general, 40th percentile marks is needed for qualifying in the UCEED examination. So, for this month you will not even get the IIT Hyderabad seat for a master degree in design. You can immigrate for state in universities or top private college to take admission in this course. I Hope this will help.

NIT or IIT don't have B. Tech through the lateral entry you can give exam for entry in 4-year engineering, there are other good colleges like DTU and Thapar which provides lateral entry.

Hello Vaishnavi Singh, oh don't worry. Losing confidence while preparing for major events is a pretty common occurrence in humans. But our inner resilience invariably takes us out. Of course, if you continue to have it for longer periods then only it becomes a cause of concern. You must think, what is going to happen if you don't make it to IIT? In any case, 95% of students appearing for JEE Mains examination can not make it to IITs. It's not the end of the world. As matter of fact with the same preparation and almost at the same cost, you can go to it, the USA for undergraduate studies!
Best wishes to you.

Hello Krishnan Unni, I don't think IIT Palakkad has announced any cutoffs for their MTech courses. This is also corroborated by the fact that a recent report stated that hundreds of seats are lying vacant in IITs for MTech and Ph.D. However, to help you I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about this IIT.

Best wishes to you.
