Last year, SPECIAL ROUND 2017 was conducted.
CSAB SPECIAL ROUND will be conducted only for NITs, IIITs and CFTIs was held for those candidates who were not allotted in JoSAA Counselling or who couldn't fill up choice entry but have valid JEE Main Scores. If seats goes vacant then there will be possibility of conducting SPECIAL ROUND. In due course of JoSAA Counselling it will be notified whether the SPECIAL ROUND will be conducted this year or not, if seat goes vacant.
NOTE : If seat goes vacant even after 7th Round of JoSAA Counselling then SPECIAL ROUND may be conducted.

Tip 1: Be Focused

Almost all IITs allow students to do their Ph.D. of course there will be some criteria for selection. I suggest you approach any IIT and seek help. They will be more than willing to help you.
