The admission into IITs for post graduate management course is done through CAT exam. For post graduate engineering programs, you need to clear GATE exam with a good score while for M.Sc and other such courses, IIT JAM scores are used.

Eligibility
- Graduation 60%
- Mandatory Courses : B.E. / B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech
- Candidates must have obtained required marks or 6.00 CGPA for GEN (SC/ST/PD 5.50) on a 10 point scale at qualifying degree level.
- Final year students are also eligible to apply on provisional basis.

Why aeronautical engineering? It's tough to get placement in this branch for core competencies jobs. IIT-Mumbai is the best. For NIT, unfortunately, intercomparison from independent agencies is not available and hence difficult to decide a top NIT.

Eligibility
The basic criterion for applying to a Bachelor's degree in Geology is qualifying Class XII examination or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. The duration of Bachelor's degree is three years and four if you apply for Honors.

I really appreciate your dreams. But why M.Tech? You can do M.Sc in maths. Ph.D also. But unfortunately, B.Tech is the required eligibility for M.Tech.
