The fee in different IIT's is different and we're not raised for many years. These days, almost all IITs have enhanced their fees. In IIT, Mumbai it is approximately Rs. 65k per semester.

You can surely try this year for IIT-JEE Mains. For clearing Advanced you need to have 75% in class 12th or to be in the top 20 percentile.
