You stand a strong chance of getting into one of the top IITs if your prep CRL PWD score in JEE Advanced is 30. In older IITs like IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Kanpur, etc., your rank qualifies you for branches like Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Civil Engineering. Many IITs offer special seats for PWD (Persons with Disabilities) candidates.

It is most unlikely that a candidate with OBC rank of 6000 in JEE Advanced will find admission in one of the brand IITs for a hot discipline such as electrical engineering or computer science. But in certain IITs, you can have hope in less popular disciplines such as environmental, civil, or metallurgical engineering. Which IIT it is and also the competition prevailing in the year you are taking the test will also make your chances of getting admitted.

With a preparatory rank of 43 in the ST category in JEE Advanced, your chances of getting into an IIT in rounds 3 to 5 of JoSAA counseling are possible, but it depends on various factors such as the opening and closing ranks for each IIT and branch. Typically, preparatory rank students are given seats in IITs if there are vacancies, but the branches available might be limited to less popular ones.
You should keep an eye on the JoSAA counseling rounds and the specific cutoffs for your category. If you don't secure a seat in the earlier rounds, there's still a chance in the later rounds as the cutoffs might decrease if seats rem

Seats of preparatory courses in IITs vary from year to year and are done on the number of vacant reserved category seats remaining after general admissions. The preparatory courses aim at serving SC, ST and PwD applicants who could not reach the marks qualifying them but who have a promise. There are no specified number of seats in the preparatory course but will depend on available vacancies every year. For the most accurate and up-to-date information, it is advisable to visit the official Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) website or the respective IITs' admissions websites.

IIT Bhilai is considered a competitive institution, but generally less so than the older, more established IITs, making it a relatively good option for those who aim for a good Engineering education but may not have the highest JEE Advanced rank. The cutoff ranks for IIT Bhilai have varied over the years, but generally, the closing ranks for the general category in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) have been around the 5,000-6,000 range.
